Chocolates are a favourite for many people around the world. You can enjoy a chocolate as is or you can make the experience even sweeter with this delicious fried candy bar recipe.
Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups milk (or as needed)
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 2 large chocolate bars (like Snickers) chilled

Method:

  • Mix the regular flour, corn flour, and baking soda together in a bowl.
  • Stir in enough milk to make a batter. The batter should not be too thick but it should also have a thicker consistency than water.
  • Cut the chocolate bars if desired.
  • Heat the oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Dip the chocolates in the batter and allow some of the excess to drip off but don’t let it all drip off.
  • Place in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  • Strain and place on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Feel free to experiment with various different types of chocolates and remember to eat them while they are warm! You can even serve with some ice cream on the side if you want to turn a chocolate bar into a complete dessert.
