Ingredients for the cobbler:
- 3 large apples
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup melted butter
Instructions for the cobbler:
- Peel and slice or chop your apples up.
- Mix the flour, sugar, and cinnamon together.
- Add the egg to the dry mixture and mix until the mixture is similar to coarse cornmeal.
- Grease an oven dish before placing your apple pieces in.
- Sprinkle the flour mixture over the apples.

- Remove from heat and add ½ a cup of evaporated milk.
- Add the vanilla and stir.
- If you want thinner sauce, add some more of the evaporated milk. Remember, it will thicken as it cools.
