Halloween and trick-or-treating might have been more of an American tradition years ago but we have seen more and more countries embrace this opportunity to dress up and fill up on loads of sweets and chocolates. Children will make their way from house to house in the hopes of collecting an extraordinary amount of sweet treats. Of course, if you have loved ones in another city or country, this is another annual occasion you don’t want to miss!
When you run a search for hampers online, you’ll notice just how many sweet hampers and chocolate hampers from which you can choose. Some are more elaborate than others and, understandably, the price tag reflects this. If you are planning on spoiling one person, then you can easily set a budget and shop accordingly. On the other hand, if you are shopping for more than one recipient, you have a couple of options.
If the recipients are siblings, then you can always send one large gift hamper and let the kids share. If this is the case, you might want to address the hamper to mum and dad so that the contents is indeed evenly distributed! Don’t be surprised if mum and dad “steal” one or two treats for themselves. The gourmet sweets and chocolates in these hampers are irresistible!
Of course, if you want to avoid any problems whatsoever, you could look for a smaller hamper and send each recipient their own Halloween gift. Make sure that you send the same gift hamper to each of the recipients or you could end up with some unwanted sibling rivalry.
If you want to send Halloween hampers to more than one recipient with different addresses, then this may also call for identical hampers to be sent to each recipient. This is especially important if the recipients know one another (if they are cousins for example) and you don’t want one to feel in any way rejected.
Don’t forget to take into consideration food allergies and always ask the parents before sending over any sweets. Even if you have always sent sweets in the past, it’s a good idea to check in and make sure that there have not been any dietary changes in the household. If any of the children in the house are too young for sweets and chocolates, you could always send an age-appropriate toy or even a cute costume instead. Show your loved ones that you are thinking of them this Halloween with a delicious gift hamper to satisfy their sweet tooth!
