There are a number of occasions throughout the year when we have the opportunity to show our employees and clients how much they mean to us. Showing your appreciation ensures that your staff will be more inclined to put their best foot forward. It also shows customers that you care and it create a sense of loyalty.
When presenting Father’s Day hampers to those you know on a business or professional level, you will need to make sure that you know which of your employees are indeed celebrating Father’s Day. Once you have a number, you can then order your hampers. Make sure that you order the same hamper for everyone so that there are no disputes with regards to the contents or value.
Alternatively, you could use this opportunity to generate interest and spark enthusiasm by hosting a competition or raffle. Invest in a larger, more expensive hamper and encourage your employees to participate. If you have a large number of employees, you could host a competition for each department so that you don’t put your sales employees up against your service employees.
The same can be done with your customers. You can encourage them to buy more around this time of year by offering a certain number of raffle tickets depending on the value of their purchase. So, the more they buy, the more tickets they will receive and the greater their chances of winnng the hamper. You can give away a single large hamper or one relatively large hamper and more smaller hampers. When there are several prizes, it gives people more hope of winning and encourages more entries.
When planning this kind of incentive, make sure that you do proper advertising so that your staff or customers are aware of the Father’s Day competition. The more people know, the better for your bottom line!
