Chocolate bars are becoming more and more popular and are a wonderfully colourful way to tantalise your taste buds! When designing your Christmas candy bar, you need to determine how much space you have available. You will also need different types of cake stands and stands to give height variations to your display.

Choosing colours

The first thing to keep in mind is the importance of using the right colours. If you want to create a festive theme, we recommend focusing on festive colours like red, white and green. You will also want to plan different types of desserts so that you can give your guests several options to choose from.

Cake pops

Cake pops are a must at any candy bar and you can make yours more festive by using red and white sticks. You can also place some Christmas cookies and cupcakes. If you want, you can add a bowl of candy or even a glass jar of red and green bubble gum. Your cake pops should be covered in white chocolate or you can add food colouring to the white chocolate and create red or green chocolate. You’ll also need some colourful festive sprinkles to decorate your cake pops, but remember, you don’t have to decorate them all with sprinkles. You can also decorate them by hand with various Christmas candy patterns.

Cookies

Christmas cookies are also a great idea and you can make them in various flavours or stick with your favourites. Some popular designs include Christmas trees, Santa Claus, reindeer and snowmen. Decorate your cookies and make them as colourful as possible.

Cupcakes

As for cupcakes, you can get really creative when topping these delicious morsels! They will also really fill up your Christmas candy bar. Some like white icing with Christmas sprinkles. Others prefer green icing with some sprinkles to create the effect of a Christmas tree. You could even create your own candy stripe design with red and white icing! If you want to give each of your cupcakes its own personality, you can make some with Santa faces, some with smiling snowmen, and some with silly reindeer. These are especially suitable for the young or young at heart.

Remember to cover your table with a white tablecloth and place all your treats so they are easy to reach. Everything in front of the table must be placed directly on the table. As you go back, the screens should be taller. Feel free to add more bowls with red and green Christmas candy and chocolates or even some candy canes!
