There are few things more delicious than fresh fruit in the hot summer months. Now, you might not feel all that hungry when it’s hot outside but it’s still important to get all those vitamins while you can. This is what makes fruit juice so fantastic. Ginger ale with a twist of lime

Ingredients:

  • One handful of grapes
  • 1 apple (cored and sliced)
  • ½ inch of fresh ginger (or less if it’s too strong for you)
  • ½ a lime
  • ¼ a lemon
  • sparkling water

Directions:

To make this fruit juice, you will need to blend the apple and ginger together before you add the rest of the fruit. Pour the juice into a large glass and top up with sparkling water. If you like your juice extra cold, you can also add ice.

Big Boost

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fresh sliced kale
  • 1 cup of green grapes (seedless)
  • 1 sliced English cucumber
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (cored and cut into chunks)
  • ½ cup of water

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients together in a blender and pulse to start off with. Pulse the ingredients to start with. You will need to stop from time to time and scrape the sides of the blender to push the pulp down. If you prefer fresh fruit juice without pulp, you can strain the blended mixture and add some more water. If you store in the fridge, you can keep it for up to two days. Make sure you shake well before pouring.

Tropical Delight

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of chopped and peeled peaches
  • 1 cup of chopped and peeled mango
  • 1 fresh orange (freshly squeezed)
  • ½ cup of coconut water
  • 1 tsp agave nectar

Directions:

This fresh fruit juice recipe is so simple. Just blend all of the ingredients together, You can strain if you like and serve chilled or over ice.

Fruity flavours

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple (cored and cubed)
  • 2 soft pears (cored and cubed)
  • ½ cup of cherries (remove the pits if you use fresh cherries OR you can thaw out some frozen cherries instead)

Directions:

Blend the fruit together and, once blended, strain the mixture. If it’s too thick, you can also add some water.

Fab five

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples
  • 1 orange
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 or 4 large kale leaves
  • 1 cup of blackberries

Directions:

This is another simple fresh fruit juice recipe. Blend all of the ingredients together and add water if desired.
