Ingredients:

  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 2 blocks cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup ricotta
  • 1/3 cup and 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan (divided)
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (i.e. Pillsbury Grands)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp parsley (chopped)

Method:

  • Before making your garlic bread pizza, you need to preheat your oven to 350 F.
  • Mix 2 cups mozzarella, cream cheese, 1/3 cup Parmesan, ricotta, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes and salt together in a bowl.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • Spread the pizza sauce on top.
  • Top with the rest of the mozzarella and pepperoni.
  • Halve the biscuits and roll them into balls.
  • Place them on top of the dip.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the garlic, oil and parsley.
  • Brush this mixture on the biscuits.
  • Top with the remaining Parmesan.
  • Bake until the biscuits are golden. This takes about 45 minutes.
  • Cover with tin foil and continue baking for another 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
